When Hal’s elderly wife recently passed away, he was left with her 20 year-old car, and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of selling it. So he contacted CARS to learn about their donation program, as he wanted to support the Adirondack Center for Loon Conservation. He was very pleased with how simple the process was, from the paperwork to the pickup of the car (despite the dead battery!), and the donation that the ACLC received following the sale of the car at auction.
